What are the LIFT Market hours?
Market hours are by appointment only.
- Tuesdays | 12:00–2:00 p.m.
- Thursdays | 6:00–8:00 p.m.
- Saturdays | 8:00–10:00 a.m.
- Sundays | 8:00–9:30 a.m.
Market Closures | November 26, December 24, 26, 27, 29 & 31

- When you arrive at the LIFT Center the entrance to the LIFT Market will be across from the parking lot. Enter door 2—look for the LIFT Market flag.
Is an appointment required for the LIFT Market?
- Yes, Market hours are by appointment only.
- We allow 2 appointments per month per household.
Who can use the LIFT Center's services?
- Anyone going through a difficult time or needing help.
- We don’t currently have any residency requirements.
Do I need to bring anything?
- Yes, please bring a photo ID or your Northern Illinois Food Bank card.
How often can I visit the LIFT Market?
- You can shop 2 times per month.
- If you do not show up for your appointment, it will still count as one of your appointments.
What types of items are available in the LIFT Market?
- We offer milk, eggs, meat, cheese, fresh produce, shelf stable items & personal care products. We ask that guests honor all posted limits.
Are there specific Market guidelines?
- No cutting in line.
- The guest with the appointment stands in line.
- No saving spots in line for other guests.
- No savings spots with bags/belongings.
- If bags are in line saving spots, people may stand in front of them.
- Only the person with the appointment shops.
- No animals are allowed inside.
- Please arrive within 30 minutes of your signup time.
- Be kind and respectful to all other guests and volunteers
